WINGED MIGRATION Refreshments at 7.30pm Screening at 8.00pm

Winged Migration won an Oscar in 2002 and shows the migration of birds through 40 countries filmed by five camera crews flying alongside them in gliders, planes and balloons. The beauty of the natural world comes to life as we are taken through the Arctic and the Amazon and great cities such as Paris and New York. It is a unique experience and one not to be missed.

THE PAINTED VEIL Refreshments at 7.00pm Screening at 7.30pm

The Painted Veil is based on a famous novel by Somerset Maugham and is set in the 1920s. A young couple, Walter, a middle-class doctor and Kitty, an upper-class woman marry for the wrong reasons. She falls in love with someone else. In an act of vengeance, Walter insists that Kitty goes with him to fulfill a medical project in China, where a deadly epidemic is raging. It is a beautiful and stunning film with a moving ending.

Each evening will begin at 7.30pm and 7.00pm respectively with a glass of wine and nibbles followed by a word of welcome and introduction to the film.

Tickets (including refreshments) are £4 per person per film (£3 for Seniors/Unwaged)

You can pay at the door on the night but early booking is advised to be sure of a seat.
