COURSES

Throughout the year several courses and seminars are offered as part of the Diocese of Liverpool's educational programme.
The Rev'd Canon Dr. Rod Garner as the Diocesan Theological Consultant works together with the University of Liverpool's Continuing Education programme, Southport College, and other educational establishments throughout the Diocese to develop courses and seminars.

SPRING 2008

Faith Seeking Understanding

The various courses are designed to encourage, inform and educate with a definite emphasis on encouragement.
Faith shrivels if it is not open to questions and there is a deep satisfaction to be had from believing with heart and mind.
We also live in a complex world where, increasingly, Christianity is facing serious moral and intellectual objections as part of a wider disillusionment in society with the public face of religion.
It is hoped that these courses will renew Christian confidence as we explore the riches of our religion and culture in the conviction that both of them constitute God's world.
